Engineers Ireland hosted the event titled: The Transition to Sustainability with the Supergrid
The event covers the critical nature of the Supergrid for the timely and cost effective success of the renewable energy transition. A Supergrid can provide secure, affordable and renewable power for all Europeans.
It would also be hugely beneficial to Ireland with its abundant offshore wind resources and thus it is highly recommended that Ireland becomes a leader in its advocacy. As Eddie O’Connor says:
“Ireland’s offshore wind is a business opportunity like we have never seen”
