Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining SuperNode in 2018, Rob worked on the commercial team at Sefaira acquired by Trimble SketchUp.
He has been a core part of the executive and strategy teams at Supernode for over 7yrs and sits on the board. Rob holds an MBA from IE Madrid and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
Peter Stringer

As Chief Technology Officer at SuperNode, Peter is leading the development of the company’s core technology.
Since joining in 2021, he has progressed through senior R&D and engineering leadership roles, helping to scale SuperNode’s technology from research through to deployment.
Peter brings over 15 years of experience across energy and medical device industries, with a strong background in engineering leadership, product development and delivery within highly regulated environments.

Dee joined SuperNode in 2021 and brings extensive multisector experience as a Senior HR leader across many sectors including Fintech and Energy. She has led global large scale transformation projects and is a passionate believer that a collaborative, innovative and empowered team is fundamental to the success of SuperNode’s strategy.

Pat is a director of SuperNode Ltd. A former President of the European Parliament and both Commandeur de la Légion d’honneur and a recipient of the Charlemagne prize, Pat brings his wealth of industry and cultural experience to the Board of SuperNode.
As well as holding the position of President of the Jean Monnet Foundation for Europe, Pat is the Leader of Needs Assessment and Implementation Mission on parliamentary reform for the European Parliament and the Verkhovna Rada in Kiev.
He is European Coordinator for the Scandinavian-Mediterranean TEN T (transport) Core Network Corridor (EU); he is a member of the Appointment Advisory Committee for the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg and a is member Yalta European Strategy (YES) in the Ukraine. Pat is currently President of Alliance Française in Dublin and Honorary Vice President of the European Movement. Along with his numerous other roles, Pat holds a board position with Third Age Foundation Ireland, Institute for International and European Affairs and Appian Asset Management in Dublin. Pat holds the position of Chairman with Finance Green Ireland National Committee, KPMG’s Public Interest Committee in Ireland and Gore Street Battery Storage Fund, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Professor Sir Jim McDonald is Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Strathclyde. He was elected President of the Royal Academy of Engineering in September 2019 and continues to serve in that role through which he is a member of the UK Prime Minister’s Council for Science and Technology.
He joined Strathclyde in 1984 as a New Blood Lecturer following seven years in the electricity supply industry as a transmission system protection engineer. He was appointed to the Rolls-Royce Chair in Electrical Power Systems in 1993 and subsequently became Director of the Rolls-Royce University Technology Centre in Electrical Systems.
He has authored / co-authored over 650 publications including 2 books and 150+ journal papers. His research group grew to be the largest of its type in power and energy systems research in Europe and he has attracted over £100M in research and innovation funding. He Co-chairs, with the First Minister, the Scottish Government’s Energy Advisory Board. He is also Chair of the Independent Glasgow Economic Leadership Board.
He currently holds several senior non-executive business appointments with organisations including the Weir Group plc (FTSE100), Scottish Power plc and the UK National Physical Laboratory. Additionally, he Chairs or participates in several national and international committees related to research, economic development and education. He was a founding Non-Exec Director of the UK’s Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult and held a Non-Exec Director position on the Board of Axeda Systems (US NASDAQ).
In the Queen’s Jubilee Birthday Honours List 2012, Professor McDonald was awarded a Knighthood for services to education, engineering and the economy. In December 2023 he was appointed a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the British Empire in the King’s New Year’s Honours list. The award is for his services to engineering, to education and to energy. He was President of CESAER 2017-19, the association of European Universities of Science and Technology. He was Chair of the Glasgow Science Centre Board, 2011-16 and Chancellor of the Children’s University Scotland 2015-22.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Royal Society of Edinburgh, the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the Institute of Physics, the Energy Institute and the Royal Society of Arts. Egil Boyum has strong leadership and industrial experience from executive management level across many levels of Aker Solutions serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer and Senior Vice President and Head of Products Delivery Centre as well as sitting on the Board of Aker Solutions, Benestad Solutions and Rainpower AS.
Egil has experience in developing teams, leading business wide transformation processes and the growth of new business areas. He also has extensive experience from many large restructuring processes. Primarily experience from the oil & gas industry, but during the last five years main strategic work in the renewable industry.
Experienced leader with 25 years in several key leadership positions within the entire value chain. A change agent working, living and travelling extensively in diverse business cultures. Through experience, learned to understand risks, both in establishing new business and running large EPC business. However still able to be creative and innovative. Egil has an education background in Civil Engineering from Norwegian Institute of Technology

Hans Petter Felle joined Aker ASA’s Investment Team in June 2023. Prior to joining Aker, Hans Petter spent more than 12 years in investment banking with ABG Sundal Collier where he was involved in numerous M&A and capital market transactions within Energy, Natural Resources, Offshore Services and Renewables. He was named Partner in 2014 and responsible for the Energy & Natural Resources coverage from 2015. From 2009-2010 Hans Petter was employed by SEB Enskilda Corporate Finance in Oslo. He holds a MSC in Business and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School.
