SuperNode hosted ‘An Interconnected Europe – Delivering a European Offshore grid fit for decarbonisation‘ at the fringe COP26 offshore renewable event. It was organised by Mainstream Renewable Power, GWEC and the Malin group.
The session was opened by a keynote address from former Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs, followed by a panel discussion featuring Professor Goran Strbac of Imperial College, Nicola Medalova of National Grid, Gerald Kaendler of ENTSO-E and SuperNode Chairman and founder Dr. Eddie O’Connor. The panel was moderated by SuperNode Chief Public Affairs Officer Christian Kjaer.
